Relaxing and nice atmosphere. Kind staff. Suprisingly nice restaurant with a superb chef and service.
Nice, but not flawless. But they didnt pretend to be either.

General quiteness of the surroundings. Very pleaseant staff. Restaurant was good although I understand under seperate management.
Breakfast was poor in the extreme. For 15 euros per head most hotels lay on a reasonable breakfast, we thought this breakfast was the worst for a long time. Enjoy the hotel, eat breakfast elsewhere.

We liked the room, which was spacious, clean, with a balcony which had a wonderful view overlooking the Pyrenees; we also liked the friendliness of the staff (one of the receptionists was in fact English, which was a big help); and we liked the restaurant, which we thought had improved since our previous visits in 2010 (because the food wasn't quite so fussy - or "pretentious")
We did think the hotel was rather overpriced and the breakfasts were expensive for what was offered (though this didn't seem to put off the French guests - maybe it was just the current rate of exchange for the English!)

The location and the view from the hotel were great. The reception area . .and the pool were charming. The dinner was good except for the service.
The service in the restaurant was very poor. Having paid €52 euro a head for dinner we were sitting 2 hour before we got our main course. Wine to be served with the cheese never arrived and bread did not arrive with the starter as it was not ready. The bedrooms are all in chalets not connected to the hotel and while quiet they were not four star standard .ie. Very basic floor tiles.

Arriving the hotel we were informed no dinner was served in the evening. We had to drive to the village, where you hardly could find any open restaurants.

We had a really good time here. The setting is beautiful, especially the jacuzzi which overlooks the mountains, and best of all the staff are really friendly and helpful. I would defintiely recommend it.

While the room of the hotel was fine , the hotel was totally overpriced - particulary the breakfast and the dinner menu, as well as the mini bar. In our opinion it is not a 4 star hotel at all. The installations of the hotel were shabby and needed repair. It also it not wheelchair friendly and my husband had had an accident and was in a wheelchair. The location is excellent as are the views.

The hrltas is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are good sized and charmingly furnished in the French country style. There is refrigerator and dischwasher in each room. The best thing about this hotel is the superb staff who are incredibly friendly and helpful. The setting is also stunning with beautiful views of the Canigou mountain range. The pool is terrific and the jacuzzi sits alone with a view of the mountains,. The Turkish spa is also refreshing.
The only potential caution is the website says I it is 1km from Ceret. That is true but it is 1km walking up a grade, nit flat. Not a problem but it takes about 20 mins down and 35 minutes up.

Outstanding staff, father and daughter made you feel like an extention of their family. View breathtaking. Only issue I have is finding the place - challenging
